walmart at lougheed mall

Good luck, and I hope that it’s in the same section at your store!

Good to know where to look for the Equal – I’m going to do my shop tonight!!

You are going to love your WalMart when it is completed. I’ve really have to get to the store and scoop up some Equal while it is on roll back.

I know to look in the pharmacy now… I was baffled!

glad you found it and it was on sale! bonus!

If you or someone you know have dietary needs requiring a sugar alternative, don't hesitate to check out Equal Canada on and .

I love keeping Equal sweetener on hand just in case I need it in a pinch when friends and relatives come for supper. Whipping up a sugar free dessert is simple with this great product, now available at Walmart stores across Canada. I think that this scoopable boxed format is a great alternative to messy bags or individual packaging.

Everything that we needed at Walmart was just where we needed it. Annie even picked up a really cute flannel type shirt. It was a successful trip in that we found just what we had come for, and the staff were all courteous and agreeable.

We walked around a bit more, stopping off for Valentine's Day cards and a new game for the XBOX 360 that Nathan asked me to pick up.

We went straight for the pharmacy aisle because I was sure that was where I'd find Equal in the new yellow canister. Indeed, the first place I looked it was listed at the Rollback Price of $7.97. This product is innovative because it works great for baking for those who have particular dietary needs limiting their sugar, and it's used straight out of the can at a 1 cup to 1 cup ratio. Just like you would use table sugar.

We booked it over to the Walmart located at Lougheed Mall, where there were a few things I had to take back that we had received as Christmas gifts. Our Walmart is currently under some major construction as it becomes a Walmart SuperCentre, meaning that navigation inside the store and outside can be a bit tricky. We did ourselves a favour and parked away from the front door to avoid traffic and unnecessary stress.

Since this was a small trip to Walmart, and I was really only looking at a few items, I didn't make or require a list for this one. Some weeks, if I'm particularly organized I will do a meal plan and a list of needed items, but most weeks I rely on the same basic grocery list that I have in my brain.

It's nice to get some girl time every now and again, and I absolutely love going for long drives. I know it's not particularly eco-conscious of me, but I really do enjoy a road trip.

The two of us zipped over to a friend's house to make a delivery, and then back down into Port Moody where we hit Divano for a Spanish Latte. On a side note, if you've never tried one, do yourself a favour. They're delicious.

I love to shop. It sounds kind of funny, but I look forward to going grocery shopping most of the time because it gives me a little time away and it gives me a chance to check out new and interesting products and deals. When I'm looking for an array of items including medications, housewares, clothing, toiletries or pet supplies, one of the easiest and most accessible stores in our neighbourhood is the Walmart. Recently, I was selected to share my experience shopping for Sugar Replacement at a local Walmart store, and I took the opportunity to complete this shop while running a few errands with Annie on Saturday afternoon. It had snowed, and it was real Vancouver snow, slushy and only slightly annoying… cleared off most of the main roads quickly and without too much incident.
