The shooting suspect is being treated at a Tennessee hospital and Huntsville police investigators are on the way to interview him if he is able to talk, police said.

Police would not say what the relationship is between the man found in Tennessee and the two people shot in the Walmart parking lot. They did confirm that the man found in Tennessee left the Walmart parking lot in a white Chevrolet truck.

Police said they believe the two people shot in the Walmart parking lot in Huntsville at about 12:15 p.m. were Walmart employees. One victim, a male, is dead, and the second victim, a female, is in critical condition, police said.

Police said the suspect, whose name has not been released, was found by Taft authorities. They would not say whether someone shot the suspect or if his wound was self-inflicted.
